The Hire & Rental Industry Association is pleased to advise that HIRE21 has been listed on the Schedule of Approved Business Events for the Federal Government’s Business Events Grant.
 
The Business Events Grant Program provides attendees - including sponsors, exhibitors and delegates with financial support to attend and participate at exhibitions, conferences and conventions. The initiative has been designed to instil confidence back into the business events sector and encourage businesses to return to the event forum.
 
Having HIRE21 included on the Schedule will enable eligible businesses to apply for a grant to cover up to 50% of the costs of exhibiting and attending HIRE21. The Business Events Grant Program will provide grants of between $10,000 and $250,000 to those attending as a sponsor, exhibitor or delegate.
 
Eligible expenditure includes 

• Travel, accommodation and registration

• Promotional material directly related to the event

• Digital Promotion directly related to the event

• Event and display set up costs

• Contractor costs directly related to exhibiting at the event

• Hire of exhibition space and costs of associated delegates

• Up to $10,000 towards sponsorship of the event can be matched dollar for dollar

We would encourage all those planning on attending HIRE21 to review the Grant Program and their eligibility as soon as possible. There is limited funding and this will be allocated to eligible businesses on a first come first served basis with applications closing 31 March 2021.
